Carolyn Janszen
Carolyn Janszen is a traveller and a lover of words, who believes (like Helen Keller) that life is a daring adventure or nothing. She has spent the last year travelling though Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and England. She has also worked or volunteered at youth-oriented camps in Ireland, Scotland and South Africa and has backpacked around Europe for 4 months. However at the end of the day, she still calls Australia home.
Carolyn has a BA in English and Communication Studies (with distinction), and worked as a writer and program manager (among other things!) for Opportunity International Australia from 2006-2008. Opportunity International is a non-profit organisation that works with microfinance institutions in developing countries to help the poor work their way out of poverty.
In her spare time Carolyn sings with local choirs, dances (everything from Latin to Tribal African), watches films and looks for the extraordinary in the everyday.
